Hi good job! I’m looking at adding a RING siren to my outdoor wall would this Conduit work from a junction box to the siren think 24v wire and use the plastic conduit to protect it. Hope you don’t mind me picking your brains. Thanks 👍

If you pushed that thermal cut out and it energised with your finger in there you'll get a belt you won't ever forget ill tell you that. Bet a few home owners have done it after watching RUclips videos and forgeting to isolate the supply!

Is it a requirement to use conduit in a log cabin? cn you not use tranking and insulated cables? NOT WIRES I MEAN , GREY INSULATED MULTI CORE CABLES!? I have SWA all the way to the log cabin CU but the inside just 50mm wide cable trunking to all switches and sockts.

Do you mind if I give you a helpful suggestion for next time, and this is how I deliver Leaflets when I have two or more people with Me, why dont one of you do down one side of the road, and deliver all the closes and roads off, well the other one does the opposite side of the road, and delivers all the off shoots/ Closes and roads off, as what you are doing atm is your walking more than you need to, and if you both did opposite sides of the road you would bang off more leaflets a lot faster than you are atm, hopefully you find this helpful, and yes trust Me I have done dozens and dozens of leaflet drops over the years, mainly for estate agents in my case, good luck and keep up the good work guys

If your client wants the isolators out of site there is nothing stopping you doing what obviously the norm is to have your isolators above kitchen top height and directly above the sockets or other sources that they are isolators but some clients want as least amount of electrical items on show as possible and as the client has asked for that to happen when it's obvious they know where the isolators are going to be installed and if they sell the house they can inform the new owners,so in short if someone tells you that they must be visible are talking bullshit,mind my French,this is from a recently retired JIB GOLD card approved industrial electrician of 50 years,so keep up the good work,by the way I am a ringmain fan and for most of my career I never wired a final ring circuit with cable less than 4mm and that's working from specifications and set out drawing calculated by electrical architects.

Thank you for this excellent video. You have just saved. my life, as I would have had so much grief with setting up the connectivity app ! When day to day things in life throw up problems like this, it pushes you to the edge. Really frustrating and so unnecessary.

If the shower cable was on top of 2 cold water supplies then it’s effectively water cooled 😂😂😂. I’m not one to do the usual DIYer rant but in this case you can see why sparkys hate DIYers having a go at electrics. There should be mandatory training for DIYers to do before they touch anything. We cant just say “no diy” like they do in Australia as that’s dumb, but when someone does this level of stupidity then it’s just dangerous.

All that is nothing compared with the wiring of our apartment near Malaga. Examples: on renovating the bathroom, I found that the wires for the supply to the illuminated bathroom cabinet were joined by twisting the bare wires together, then covering them with adhesive medical finger plasters. One of the bedside lights with a metal body was live. A wall socket once burst into flames. The electrics were "done" by the electrician who shall be nameless (Paco. Oops), and who was employed by the neighbouring, sizeable hotel. Ah me.

Any advice for testing 3 phase immersion heater and is it advisable to remove thermostats when performing insulation resistance test?
